Troubleshooting

This page is under construction.

Connection of Console with Service and Server is indicated in the right corner of Console notification bar. It indicates 3 states with traffic light signals

  • Red icon - no connection with Service
  • Orange icon - connection with Service is alright but there is no connection with Server
  • Green icon - connection with Service and Server is alright

Notes

  • Console communicates with Service via network, the connection is established always from Console to Service only
  • Default Service communication port is 803, it must not be blocked
  • Service can be installed on different computer as is Console

Possible causes

  • Service is not running, please see Check if Service is running guide
  • Communication is actively blocked, please see Check if communication is blocked guide
  • Communication is not possible due to network missconfiguration or intermittent network drops, please consult with your system administrator
  • Service is overloaded, please consider upgrading the computer where Service is running

Notes

  • Service communicates with Service via Internet network, the connection is established always from Service to Server only
  • Service can be hidden inside private network and it may not be visible from outside world/Internet
  • Service communicate with server through http port 80

Possible causes

  • Communication is actively blocked, please see Check if Server communication is blocked guide
  • Intermittent problems with Internet connection and/or bandwidth, please check:
    • View some Internet web pages with your preferred Internet browser
    • Check bandwidth by connecting to bandwidth check web pages provided by your Internet connection provider
  • Server may not be accessible, down or overloaded
    • Please try to connect to https://cs.tatramed.sk
      • Icon in green circle is displayed - Server is running, in this case Service shall have no problem connecting to Server. Please check Service log for Server connection errors (downgraded installation, proxy problems, …)
      • Icon in orange circle is displayed - Server is running but can not respond to requests at the moment, please retry later and if the problem persists contact Server administrator
      • Icon in red circle or no page is displayed - Server is not responding at the moment, please retry later and if the problem persists contact Server administrator

todo Starting Service

  • If this is standalone installation check if Service is running on local computer, otherwise find the computer where is Service installed and check that Service is running there:
    • Open Task Manager
    • Click on Details
    • Click on Name to order the processes by name
    • Try to find T3CSvc.exe
    • If Service is not running please see Start
